"Do It Again" is a song performed by American contemporary worship band Meridian Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Brownish, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[2] the song was released as the first single from their 2022 album There Is a Cloud.[iii] [4] It was released to Christian radio on February 23, 2018. The song peaked at No. 6 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart, condign their 2d Top 10 unmarried from that nautical chart. Information technology lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their second longest charting song.[5] The song is played in a B-flat major key, and 172 beats per infinitesimal.[6]

Background [edit]

The earliest version of "Do It Over again" was released on September 9, 2016, as role of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The alive version of "Do It Again" was then released on February 17, 2018, during the pre-order period of In that location Is a Cloud, every bit the second promotional single of the album.[viii] [nine] It was recorded during the 12-24-hour interval "Code Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[10] held past Elevation Church at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, North Carolina.[11] "Do It Again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the song released on the same mean solar day.[12]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Behind the Vocal' feature published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired past a sermon titled "Don't Stop on 6" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Briefing, whereby Matt Redman identified a vocal concept.[xiii] Chris Dark-brown, in relation to the vocal's takeaway bulletin, said "We want people to know that God is true-blue."[thirteen]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Practise It Again" was published on YouTube on September 30, 2016.[fourteen] [15] The live music video of "Do Information technology Again" which also includes the reprise, recorded at Elevation Church's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, N Carolina was released on Feb 24, 2017, through YouTube.[16] The lyric video of the vocal's Castilian version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Do It Again)" was released on August 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live acoustic operation video of the song was then published on March i, 2022 via YouTube.[18]
